Lalchandani Simon partner Kubs Lalchandani accepts position as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship at the Cornell Hotel School.
For the academic year 20116-2017, Lalchandani Simon partner Kubs Lalchandani has accepted an appointment to the position of Entrepreneur in Residence (EnIR) at the Cornell Hotel School’s Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship (PIHE). Lalchandani will be interacting with students, both at undergraduate and Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) levels. He will be counseling students on their entrepreneurial endeavors as well as serving as a guest lecturer in various classes.
Kubs Lalchandani is co-founder and partner of Lalchandani Simon PL, a specialized law firm designed to assist technology and healthcare companies protect their intellectual property, comply with applicable regulations, expand operations, and engage in any necessary litigation. Lalchandani primarily counsels clients in the technology, healthcare and hospitality sectors. In the May 2014 edition of Brickell Magazine, Lalchandani was named one of Miami’s Top 20 Professionals Under 40. He also received the New Leaders Council’s 2014 Rising Star award. From 2013 to 2016, Super Lawyers Magazine has recognized Lalchandani as a “Rising Star” in the state of Florida. He was also nominated by his peers to receive the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade County award.
Lalchandani serves as co-owner and general counsel for United Drug Supply, Inc., a pharmaceutical distributor based in North Carolina. He is also a co-owner of Mayahuel, New York’s premier mezcal cocktail bar. Lalchandani serves on the advisory boards of several technology companies, including WedWu, Inc., a wedding services bidding platform, ZoomRadar.com, a high-tech weather reporting technology provider, and Razient, LLC, a global incident management and supply chain risk assessment company. Lalchandani also sits on the national board the New Leaders Council, an organization designed to promote political entrepreneurship.
