Partner - Head of litigation

Daniel Davis is a Partner at Lalchandani Simon PL. He works with businesses and startups in pre-suit matters, litigation, and appeals.

Mr. Davis’ courtroom experience includes having co-chaired an eminent domain trial, as well as having successfully reversed a $4.1 million judgment against an Indian Tribe. He has also worked with the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center, which is widely regarded as the most influential private litigant before the U.S. Supreme Court, and with Lockheed Martin’s Missiles & Fire Control business unit, for which he provided system support to the company’s Production Operation’s Performance Management Team process.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Davis currently serves on the Eleventh Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee “B” and on the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Committee. Mr. Davis has also been a panelist on topics such as dealing with difficult opposing counsel and professionalism.

Mr. Davis has also served as the Chair for the Business Law Section Computer & Technology Law Committee, the Chair of the Eleventh Circuit Grievance Committee “H,” and the Chair of the Florida Bar’s Clients’ Security Fund. Local grievance committees are responsible for continuing the investigation of possible lawyer misconduct referred by Bar discipline attorneys, while local unlicensed practice of law committees investigate complaints alleging that an individual is practicing law without a license. The Clients’ Security Fund was created by The Florida Bar to help compensate persons who have suffered a loss of money or property due to misappropriation or embezzlement by an attorney.
