ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Bibiana joined Lalchandani Simon as an associate in April, 2021. Prior to joining Lalchandani Simon, Bibiana clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Becerra, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Bibiana previously worked in both Washington, D.C. and Miami focusing on complex commercial litigation and represented U.S. companies operating in Latin America under investigation by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.   She also has experience conducting compliance investigations for U.S.-based multinational companies in the energy, logistics, and information technology industries.

Community Work

Bibiana has maintained an active pro bono litigation practice in state, federal, and immigration court. Bibiana second-chaired a criminal jury trial where her client was acquitted of aggravated assault.  Bibiana also represented an incarcerated plaintiff in a federal suit against the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and six officers for excessive force.  Finally, she has represented numerous clients seeking asylum in the U.S.
